Halton Violence Prevention Council – Coordinator
Halton Violence Prevention Council requires a coordinator with a comprehensive understanding of issues related to gender-based violence. The position requires excellent communication skills, experience working with community partners and the ability to take a leadership role in improving our community’s response to women survivors.
Responsibilities include guiding and supporting the Halton Violence Prevention Council and its activities, promoting the Neighbours, Friends and Family campaign, engaging survivors, and promoting collaboration, cross-sectoral education and advocacy.
Part time 7-10 hrs per week. Hours are flexible. The position is located in the offices of Thrive Counselling.
